Return & Refund Policy – LAYA | The Dress Edit
This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from LAYA | The Dress Edit, an independent online fashion brand operating from Ukraine and serving customers worldwide.
We are committed to delivering carefully prepared, quality-checked fashion pieces. Some items are made-to-order and may be subject to specific return conditions. Please review this policy before placing an order.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
Returns are accepted from all countries, subject to the conditions below.
Returned items must be:

Unused, unworn, and unwashed

With all original tags attached

In original packaging
Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery (30 days for customers within the European Union where required by law).
Initiation means the return shipment must be sent within this period and a valid tracking number must be provided by email.
Returns submitted without tracking or outside the allowed timeframe will not be accepted.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for return or monetary refund unless faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

Beauty and personal care products

Gift cards
Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or damage will not be accepted.
Items purchased with a discount of 20% or more are considered Final Sale and are non-refundable, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
REFUND METHOD
Monetary refunds are the default refund method and are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received, inspected, and approved.
EXCEPTIONS
Made-to-order and personalized items are not eligible for monetary refunds unless faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
In such cases, store credit may be offered as an alternative where permitted by law.
Store credit may also be issued at the customer’s request instead of a monetary refund.
RETURN SHIPPING & COSTS

All return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and related fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Any import duties or clearance fees incurred during return shipment may be deducted from the refund amount.

We recommend marking the package as “Returned Goods,” but customs exemptions cannot be guaranteed.

Returned items remain the responsibility of the customer until received and inspected by our team.
Return instructions and the return address are provided by customer support after return approval.
HANDLING & RESTOCKING FEE
For returns or cancellations not caused by product fault, a handling and restocking fee of 17% may be deducted from the refund amount. This covers sourcing, preparation, and administrative costs associated with made-to-order production.
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days after inspection.
Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Returns that do not meet the stated conditions will not be refunded and may be sent back to the customer.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery and include clear photos of:

Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for compensation.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.
After this period, preparation or production may begin and cancellation may no longer be possible. In such cases, customers may use the return process after delivery if eligible.
EU COOLING-OFF PERIOD
Customers within the European Union are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period where required by law, provided all return conditions are met.
